		ITALWIN is an Italian company specialized in pedal assisted electric bicycles, a field where it has been successfully operating since these bikes were initially introduced in Italy. The electric bike does not replace the traditional bicycles, is instead a brilliant alternative -for the short and medium range- to motor vehicles and public transportation, allowing quick transfers with no time or route constraints, no pollution, no effort, using bicycle lanes, accessing areas with traffic restrictions, no insurance costs, no compulsory helmet, at a very low cost per kilometer. 		The partnership between DUCATI and ITALWIN gave birth to *CITY PEARL, a pedal assisted elctric bicycle with the Ducati brand. The two manufacturers present it as a "synthesis of forms, technology, innovation and exo-sustainability" and as "the ideal vehicle to get amused with style and agility, without effort, even in areas restricted to traffic". This electric bicycle with the Brand from Borgo Panigale is proposed in both men's and women's versions. Style and design come from a close collaboration between the Italwin designer and the Ducati Design Center. The geometry of the frame, the sections of the tubing, the handlebar, saddle and grips were chosen to enhance ergonomics and performance, exploiting to the maximum mechanical and electronic technologies. The style choice integrates the battery and the controller in the rear profile to avoid disrupting the design of the bicycle, which at first glance looks traditional and futuristic at the same time*.
